As part of national Trustees' Week, we would like to say a very big thank you to all our executive committee members (charity trustees) across the District.
Held between 7th-11th November, Trustees’ Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.
Across Stamford and Bourne Scouts, each of our Groups and Districts are supported by an Executive Committee. Members of these committees are Trustees of their relevant charitable entity, through which we deliver life-changing skills for life.
Our Trustees work tirelessly to ensure we’re able to operate effectively, that our resources are used appropriately, our premises the best they can be, that we have the necessary funding to deliver today and the plans to secure bright futures for years to come. The governance provided by our Executive Committees is most effective when diverse groups of Trustees come together to combine a range of skills, experiences and perspectives, in a supportive environment.
We can’t thank all our Trustees enough for the important work they do.
